On 7/30/2015 as this number called my cell phone, I was on hold waiting to speak with a representative to ask to be removed, and inform them of my "do-not-call" status, when an important call came in on call-waiting. After switching back, the line was no longer active. I tried to call the number back but it was "unassigned" (spoofed caller ID). I've been trying to get hold of the fraud dept at Sprint Wireless (my phone carrier) for 3 days to investigate the call from their side. They've provided a message saying they're closed because of understaffing. I've recently identified that I was affected by US OPM's recent breach of personnel data, and I suspect this call from spoofed ID may be an attempt to confirm or collect information related to that. But without an actual loss, I seem unable to initiate preventative recourse for this incident.
